[PARC] Some Activities Updates

Good morning everyone,

Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to James VE3ISB and his father Barrie VE3BSB for
joining us last evening.  It is the first of hopefully many extras we can
add to our meetings.  Who says life has to be all business?  Haha

I would also like to remind folks who were at the meeting as well as inform
any and al who could not join us of a few things.

We have a reservation for the PARC Christmas dinner.  It is currently
booked at Swiss Chalet, the Landsdowne St. Location, at 6:00 PM on Friday
December 20th.

I had made the reservation not realizing that the dinner is usually a bit
earlier in the month. I hope that works for everyone.
Please RSVP to me, Jordan VE3AVA, if you plan to attend and if you are
bringing anyone. I will keep a tally so we can update the restaurant closer
to the date.

John VA3NW is looking for anyone who may be interested in jumping in as net
controller.  It’s looks like some of the regular folks aren’t as available
as they used to be and I believe we are looking for perhaps one permanent
addition as well as some casual folks who may like to get some experience
or just help out while chatting with the fine folks of PARC and the
surrounding areas.  So if this sounds like something you would like to do
please reach out to John, or myself at this email and I can pass it along
to him.

Lastly,  we are starting to make plans for winter Field Day and are looking
for any input on location suggestions.  You know where to reach me if you
would like to toss an idea to the group.

That’s enough from me, I haven’t had my coffee yet, as I’m sure any of you
up reading this at this hour might not have either.
