Dear PARC Members;

As 2023 comes to an End, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for
welcoming me as the Club’s Activities Director, and to John VA3NW for his
years of service in this role. It has been a wonderful year getting the
club back on track to being more active after the pandemic. Including:

*Field Day 2023:*

Many Thanks to Dave (VE3SD) for organizing it again this year, and for his
late-night snacks. Rick (VE3RKY) for setting up the digital Playground, and
to everyone else who volunteered to put up antennas or provide food, or
even those of you who just stopped by to say Hello. It was a resounding
success even with the bad weather.

*Fall Corn Roast 2023*

Thank you so much to Paul (VE3AXT), and his XYL for hosting it this year.
Once again Dave (VE3SD) for cooking, and to everyone who brought something
to the potluck.

*Holiday (XMAS) Dinner 2023*

Thank you so much to Nina (VE3IRK) for keeping track of the Reservations,
it was wonderful to see you all for a Holiday Meal.

As we continue into new year, we have more events on the books:

·         Several antenna workshops

·         Further encouraging club participation in contests

·         Fox hunts

·         POTA Parties

·         And of course, Winter Field Day is coming up January 27th and 28th
.

I will take this moment to remind you all that the Canada Winter Contest is
coming up December 30th, and I hope to hear many of you on the air.

We will discuss the plans for Winter Field Day at the first meeting of
2024! (On January 9th)

For those of you who Celebrate Christmas I wish you a Merry Christmas, and
for those of you who don't have a Very Happy Holidays!
