Hi Rick:
Please spread the word to the PARC fellows that I will be operating
portable here in Belize on one of the reef islands, Caye Caulker, this
coming week.  I plan to take my IC-7300 and a portable vertical,
SuperAntenna, to set up over or near the salt water. Apparently the sea
can make a huge difference to an antenna near it so I'm hoping to have
some exciting contacts.  I always love talking to the guys back home and
would love to make some VE/VA contacts from the reef.
I fly out tomorrow morning and leave the island next Saturday morning.
I hope to be set up some time tomorrow afternoon.
The plan is to be on 20 mtrs mostly, starting on 14.145 at 1400z (0900
ET) to work Canadian and other dx stations, then 14.195+/- by 1500z for
general callins. During the day I'll be cruising around 20 and 17 mtrs.
At 2200z (1700 ET) I'll be back on 14.195.
At 0100z (2000 ET) I'll be on 40 mtrs and will put out some calls at
that time on 7.135+/-.
When I'm on the air, I'll spot myself on DXWATCH.COM
<http://dxwatch.com/> plus https://dxcluster.ha8tks.hu/ so people can
see that I'm on.
I confirm contacts promptly on LoTW, eQSL, ClubLog and QRZ.COM
<http://qrz.com/> for those interested in QSLs. I also have a QSL
manager, M0URX (details on my V31AX QRZ.COM <http://qrz.com/> page).

I'm excited about being a "real" dxpedition, sitting by the
beach 🌴🌞working the world and some of my fellow hams back home,
possibly with an adult beverage close at hand 😁!
