Thanks Leona  for the update and all you support in getting this done, great leadership. It was a super three days of PR and , of course a great start to our public fundraising campaign. I really don’t know where to start in thanking both the Peterborough and Quinte Am Radio Clubs for being so supportive. I think you have them all addressed above so , via this email, a huge THANKS everyone. My wife, Yvonne, whom most of you met at our coffee meeting , said after our meeting, that you were all a great group of people as shown by your immediate  positive responses at the meeting.You certainly all showed that again over the week-end.
I’m sure you will all be part of our “Statue Commissioning” sown the road…….

Good evening and Happy Canada Day. We have had three very successful days promoting Fern Blodgett and fund raising for the statue. We could not have done this without your support as your Morse Code keys, knowledge and passion for what you do drew people in and engaged the children which engaged the parents and that was good for us all. Over the three days we raised $1241.80 and that is terrific. We made some excellent contacts, have people who will get the word out, write up some material for the papers, and do a program on cable. The weather was wonderful, and your donations were much appreciated too – especially your time, and equipment. Thank you so very much
