Building  WA5VJB beams for VHF
Directional antennas with real gain open the doors in vhf and uhf for 
dx opportunities not possible without them. Many get fooled by false 
claims of those making omni antennas as to gain, a marketing ploy.  
The very economical beams I talk about inexpensive Yagis, which work 
very well and have been proven over the years by Rovers.
