Here are the minutes for April.

 

Devon.

 

PARC minutes

 

April 7, 2015.

 

Dave, VE3SD called the meeting to order at 7:32.  John, NW read March's
minutes for Devon who had laryngitis.

 

VE3DEV moved that they be approved.Nina, VE3IRK seconded.  Carried.

 

Barry, VE3BLM read the treasurer's report.  Petty cash: $390.89.  PARC:
$2,604.29.  KARG: $818.14.  GIC: $842.15.

 

Activities.  Barry, BLM said that the MS walk is May 31, and that is also
the day for the dog guide walk.

 

ARES.  Terry, VE3MTT announced that he is resigning the position of
Emergency Co-ordinator.  If we don't fill the position internally, the
Ontario co-ordinator will fill it.

 

Technical.  Rick, IQZ said that the gremlins on Allstar have been worked
out.

 

Website.  Harmen, VE3EMA said that he needs updates for ARES and the
membership.  Dave, VE3SD said that the membership list shouldn't be on the
website anyway.

 

Dave, SD directed everyone's attention to the proposed amendment to the
bylaw regarding the disposition of club assets.  Everyone was asked to vote.
Jerry, JLw counted them.  28 yes, 2 no.

 

SD said that the new repeater for VE3TJR is waiting for us in Mississauga.

 

New Business.

 

Jerry, JLW passed around a newsletter after which ours could be fashioned.

 

Devon, DEV said that she and John, NW picked up some sample badges from
Austin Trophies.  She asked for a consensus if at all possible as to which
design people liked.  Everyone agreed that Dave, SD will draw up a copy of
our club logo which will be put on a badge with name and call.

 

Tom, VE3HN said that he has a schematic for a CJ Rig if anyone is
interested.

 

Dave, SD showed a video on the new System Fusion repeaters that we're
purchasing.

 

Keith, HXC moved that the meeting be adjourned at 8:30.  Jerry, JLW
seconded.
