Sidebanders,

Tonight's net will be at the same time and place as usual; 1930 on 144.220.

Tonight's net has a special request from Rick KE0GB. He is asking for our help to track down some QRM. See the quoted text below...

"...can you also ask
for assistance on tracking down a rogue signal on the input of the
147.345 repeater?  We'd like anyone who has a 2m antenna to give us
signal strength reports on the input frequency of 147.945.  There's
no need to transmit, just have a listen on 147.945 mhz sometime during
the day and give us a strength report in S-units.  For anyone who
has a directional antenna: it would be great if they could rotate
their antenna (vertical polarization would be preferrable but not
necessary) and sweeping where they are receiving the signal to
provide us with an azimuth of maximum S-units.  Dave Novotny - WA6IFI
says it appears to be a weak signal from a location high in altitude,
so it will probably be to the west of most stations.  Those stations
along the front range, KC0YVW for example, could probably provide
the best reading as Tom is located the closest.  I plan on being on
the net to collect results."

So, let's see if we can give Rick a hand in tracking down this signal!

Hope to see all of you there!

If you would like to try your hand at net control, please let myself or Doug AD0TP know and we can get you scheduled.
