All,

I'm sending this to both the club list and the net list for maximum
exposure, so my apologies that some of you will receive this twice.

Gil, K0GWR, will be conducting an exercise that will flex yet another or
your radio operating skills. This time it is how to run split.

On Saturday May 21at 1900, K0GWR will be transmitting on the 15 meter band
at 21.22 MHz USB and listening on the 10 meter band at 28.38 MHz USB.

This means that you must figure out how to set up your radio for split
operation across bands to join him. So, you need to set up your radio to
receive on 21.22 MHz and transmit on 28.38 MHz. There are several resources
available if you don't know how to set up your radio to do this. First is
the manual. Remember that? It's that thing you didn't read. ;) You can also
look around online. There is a good chance that you can find a video on
YouTube showing you exactly what you need to do. Finally, just ask someone.
We have a very helpful amateur radio community here in Colorado and I'm
sure you can find someone that can help you figure it out.

Again, your radio must be set up to receive on 21.22 MHz USB and transmit
on 28.38 MHz USB, and the exercise begins at 1900 on May 21. This coming
Saturday. So get your radio set up and join him for what I'm sure will be a
fun and interesting exercise!
