Sidebanders,

To hold a 2-meter AM event in this town and to NOT invite Paul WØRW just
wouldn't be right...
He has a standing commitment on Saturday evenings, but told me that he can
listen at 5:00 PM.
Please call him if you're available and would like to ask him for a "radio
check".
As I recall from December 2019, he will hear you best if you aim your beam
at Pikes Peak.
He told me that his "Gooney Bird" is ready to go on 145.550 MHz.

Tell me how that goes! I have a family thing at 5:00, but will catch up
with ya at 7:00.

By the Way, I plan to operate my TS-700A from home this week, for all of
our planned events:

145.550 MHZ AM 7:00 PM Saturday 2/06/2021,

146.460 MHz FM 7:30 PM Saturday 2/06/2021 and

144.200 MHZ USB 8:00 PM Saturday 2/06/2021

CONTINUING THANKS to Doug ADØTP and Art KEØCQF for managing the Sideband
Net!

One more thing: Please give a try on the ADØTP repeater... whenever...
Doug ADØTP and Dan KE7TBB have worked every weekend so far this year to get
it going.
Listen on 146.850 MHz FM and transmit on 146.250 MHz FM with CTCSS of 156.7
Hz.
With "the machine" in Widefield, I drove Union from Hancock at the south to
Vickers at the north
this past Sunday evening and maintained contact with Doug the whole way!
I live on "the wrong side of Library Hill" but can hit it from home with 10
Watts and a whip.

73,

Steve K0CI
V7ARC President
and 2-meter enthusiast
