...or, actually, ANY home!
Sidebanders, tinkerers, countrymen,...
Our Craftsman screw-drive garage door opener has ceased to respond to the
remotes.
The procedure for resetting the receiver yields no results.
It still works via the wall-mounted pushbuttons inside the garage, tho.
The manual says that it's 1/2 horsepower. Has an electric eye for safety.
Runs on 120 VAC.
The rail is about eight feet long, of which it uses 89 inches on our
segmented door.
I installed this opener myself at least twenty years ago, and I have some
spare parts.
Would any of you find this useful? Like for some antenna project?
In the '80s I saw where somebody built a dumbwaiter out of a garage door
opener!
I have an appointment on Tuesday the 14th to have a new opener installed by
Overhead.
This one will be removed then and if nobody needs it, I'll ask them to take
it away.
73,
= Steve K0CI
