[v7arcssbnet] Net Last Night

All, 

I did try to log into the net last night. I was actually about 100 miles east of The Springs and I knew that was a lot to ask for 2m SSB. Good news, though, is that with the pre-amp on, I could actually hear and almost completely understand Art ( good job for making a trip that far, Art! ). I could also tell when Steve was talking, but could not make out what he was saying ( I was actually hoping that I would have an easier time with Steve since he was up on Palmer Park, but I have a feeling that his horizontal polarization was my undoing ). I know that there was another one on the net as well, but I could not hear him at all ( I am guessing it was Doug which if he was down in Fountain, it may have just been a little bit too far for me ). 

Anyway, that is my news. Unfortunately, I will also miss this coming weeks net, but after that I should be back to a member in good standing :)
