Not true! The only antennas that cannot be banned by homeowners' associations and such are those small "dish" television antennas and over the air television antennas. Unfortunately, all other outside antennas can be banned. Remember, that you signed a private contract when you bought the property and those contracts are enforceable under civil law. CC&Rs are a matter between the developer / homeowners' association and the person who purchased the property. The FCC will NOT get involved with private contracts except in the case of antennas mentioned before.

"Restricted community" for antennas no longer applies according to the FCC. If they give you any grief tell them that.

I am new to trunking and my new scanner arrived yesterday (BCT-15). In reading the manual last night I am beginning to understand the difference between conventional freqs and Trunking. I would like to ask you guys for any tips in setting up the memory. I have a basic interest in local police activity, but my main interest is in aircraft monitoring (Mil/Civ). I am looking more for techniques that work best , I understand everyone has their our personal taste in set up by this scanner seems to have more options than I realized. I am in a restricted community as far as antennas are concern so I am thinking long wire or small clip on mobile on he back gutter rail.
