[Uniden] BC 245

Does anyone have a schematic or block diagram of the BC 245 radio,
or know of a source or sitefor this info?
My battery isnt charging, but they are good. The is conductivity
between the battery terminals and the battery plug.  I think maybe
the DC receptical may have failed.
It will play when powered in my vehicle or from the wallwart.
I'm wondering id the DC receptical has an internal switch which
disconnectes the batter when external power is applied.
