[Uniden] BC 245 durability

I often place my radio on ledges, shelves, etc while working around
the house.
One day, it tipped over and fell in a bucket of water.
I removed the cover, then the plug in boards, and shook the top to
force water out of the display. I put all parts over an aic conditioning

vent for about 30 minutes to evaporate the remaing moisture.

I reassembled the boards and cover.  The boards are seal covered,
so no moisture got in and under components.

On power up, all was well.

The one problem with my radio is that when it is on a flat surface, it
has a slight forward tilt.
