[TxHam] Excursion to Bolivar next weekend

Some of us from north central Texas are making an excursion to Bolivar Peninsula to activate it for the W/VE Islands contest next weekend.  We should arrive in the evening of Fri Oct 21, but be on the air at 11am Saturday (1600UTC) for the contest but likely any time Friday thru Sunday just for contacts.  We'll camp on the beach, and operate through late afternoon Sunday.

If you are in the area and want to check it out, come find us.  Intercom on the beach will be 147.420 simplex, and we'll be somewhere south of Roll-over Pass, probably south of Crystal Beach. If you want to try to work us, we'll be operating using special event call W5B (whiskey five bravo).
Mostly we will work 40, 20, 15 SSB, maybe some CW.  We could really use the contacts for the contest.  Work a lot of islands, you might win the contest or earn an award!
