Tell your Family, Friends, Neighbors, Church, Co-workers and Colleagues
Ham Radio Class
This is an entry-level, beginner class. This class prepares the student for the
FCC Technician Class Amateur Radio license. Emergency Responders, Boy Scouts,
Retirees, School Kids, Adults are all welcomed.
Dates: March 12 and 19, 2011 (The class spans two Saturdays)
Times: 8:30am to 5pm (with lunch break apprx noon; bring your lunch)
Exam dates: March 19 at 1pm at the class
Cost of class: $0. Cost of exam: $15.

Class location: Silver Creek Baptist Church, 151 Ruth Lane, Azle, TX 76020
(About 5 miles south of HWY 199 on FM 730 South at Ruth Lane)
What to bring:
(1) Bring your CAN DO, WILL DO attitude!
(2) Bring note taking equipment, there will be a lot of note taking!
(3) Bring your lunch and snacks
How to prepare in advance:

Do I have to WAIT for the Class? No. Self study is a common method for
obtaining a ham radio license. Some people learn better from a class, others
from a book, and so on. Do what works for you.
Homework: Take at least two, hopefully 4 practice exams daily or more until
mastery.
