The Texas Task Force has been activated.  I am leaving shortly to join them in San Antonio.  It would be very helpful if some of you with HF rigs would monitor the emergency nets and pass our traffic.  Texas Emergency on or about 3873  Hurricane watch net is usually 7290 as well as 14.300 and we often call and monitor 7260  Satern is sure to be on 7265 and ares has activated 7285.   All of these frequencies are of course +- QRM.  I will be monitoring 147.555 2 meters and find suitable repeaters along the way.   I will be mobile in just a short and would love to talk to any of you HF.  If you have any information about useful nets please reply all to this email.  Please remember these are directed nets, just do what you are told and all will go well, do not tune on these or any net frequency while the net is or is supposed to be in session.
