Subject: Ham Radio Class
Greetings one and all!!!
What a busy month we have had! And highly successful…..
This is a reminder that those of you who have wanted to obtain your ham radio license, there is a Ham Radio class on Saturday Oct 31 and Nov 7 from 8:30 – 5:00 at Silver Creek Baptist Church; 151 RUTH LANE, AZLE
Ruth Laneis 2.8 miles south of Azle on FM 730 South.
From FM 730, exit onto Veal Station Road .
Ruth Laneis the first street to the left after you turn.
Lunch is on your own so you can either bring a sack lunch or quickly run and pick something up. Plan to bring snacks as well if you need something in between meals.
David Johnson will be the instructor and it is free of charge. The only fee will be $15 for the license on the second day when you take your test. I plan to attend and become a card carrying HAM RADIO operator.
You will need to bring paper and pen for notes and a CAN-DO attitude!
If you missed the opportunities to sign up, you still have time. I have the following individuals signed up (in addition to me): John Engels, Jeff Harper, David Reeves, and Lisa Webster. Please let me know if you wish to participate.
Have a great week!
