[TxHam] Fort Worth Hamfest Bulletin to All Area Communications Organizations

This is a courtesy update to your organization from
the Fort Worth Hamfest committee.

1) The Website for the Hamfest is located at
http://www.fwhamfest.com

2) The date of the hamfest is Jan 11-12, 2008.

3) The location of the Hamfest is at the
Lockheed-Martin Recreation Area (very nice and large
indoor facility) in central Tarrant County.

4) Several slots for volunteer work shifts are
available for free admission.  Individuals interested
in volunteering should sign up from the website.

5) Clubs and Organizations are offered a free
information booth (no charge!) These are for nonsales.
 Only very few indoor tables are still available for
sales.  So far several organizations have signed up.

6) All Hamfest Attendees and their families,
Presenters and Sellers are invited to attend a chili
dinner social event at the Lockheed Martin Recreation
Association Ranch House, 1/2 mile south of the Hamfest
on Friday Night after the show closes (8pm).
There will be no charge, however, voluntary
contributions to defray the cost of the food will be
welcome. For those who are able, please bring a pot
luck contribution of side dish or dessert.

7) If your club wants to be represented on the
steering committee, contact Robert Dickey ASAP via the
feedback form on the website.
