Hello All..

It has been about six months since I last posted news on the financial
state of our news services.

This Week in Amateur Radio International continues to grow as a
shortwave broadcast program and podcast. We have many new segments
on the air each month. However, financially the program is not
doing too well.
As of now, our transmission expenses for March are covered, but the
future is in doubt.

This Week in Amateur Radio International needs to raise at least
$150./month to stay on the air on WBCQ shortwave, and to cover
production expenses. Our Sunday air play at 5pm eastern time on WBCQ
will cease in April if sufficient funding is not raised to cover
transmission expenses.

If all of our listeners contributed just five dollars a month to
maintain the service, we would be in good shape.

Our amateur services, This Week in Amateur Radio, and the edited one
hour service, This Week in Amateur Radio Headline News, have so far
this year, had funding for at least some of the programs.

This is a great trend, and I hope it continues. The support of the
amateur radio community around the world has helped make This Week in
Amateur Radio, one of the most respected amateur radio news services
on the planet. Remember that This Week in Amateur Radio not only
brings you the news, but offers a lot more than other services, on a
weekly basis.
