[TWIAR] Help needed for fund raising

We here at TWIAR are looking to raise some money for our service by
having a giveaway or contest to raise money for the service.

QSL.net had a fundraising service and raised over $11,000, giving away
an ICOM 756 Pro II for those who entered by donating to QSL.net.  While
we here at TWIAR don't expect to have that good fortune, we would like
to be able to offer a radio or some other amateur equipment for donating
to TWIAR.

If you or someone you know has information or some means of being able
to furnish a radio or other equipment for such a promotion, please
contact George Bowen, W2XBS at w2xbs-at-twiar.org and we'll make every
effort to make this possible.

Also, we are looking for ADVERTISERS on the Shortwave program!  We would
also consider advertising on the web site as well, and would appreciate
any inquiries towards sponsoring TWIAR for WBCQ shortwave and TWIAR.org.

Again, email George Bowen and let us know what you have in mind.  Due to
FCC regulations we cannot solicit for advertisers on our normal Amateur
Radio program.  So please help us spread the word about TWIAR in your
area.

Remember, all donations to TWIAR.org are tax-deductible, as TWIAR is a
not-for-profit organization.
