Gary Pearce, KN4AQ, announced in the most recent issue of the
SouthEastern Repeater Association's SERA Journal, that he is
resigning as Editor following the May 2006 publication.
He cited the lack of time to devote to the SERA Journal as his main
reason, caused mainly by the increased demand on his freelance
audio/video production business in the last year.
Gary took over as Editor in 2001, succeeding the late Wayne Williams,
K4MOB, who retired from being the SERA Journal Editor after 24 years.
Wayne sadly passed away 2 weeks after the first SERA Journal under
Gary went to press.
SERA is actively looking for a new Editor. Anyone interested should
contact Gary Pearce at his email address, kn4aq at sera.org, or the SERA
President, Roger Gregory, W4RWG at w4rwg at sera.org.
SERA is the largest Amateur Radio Repeater Coordinating organization
in the United States serving Georgia, Mississippi, Kentucky,
Tennessee, the Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
