THIS WEEK IN AMATEUR RADIO SUPPORT FUND

!!! Welcome to 2004 !!!

As we enter 2004, This Week in Amateur Radios future
is uncertain. Although we are growing slightly in staff,
with the addition of new and returning anchors, we are
still searching for new segment producers. But most of all,
we are un-funded.

This Week in Amateur Radio entered the new year with a
support fund balance of under ten dollars, after we paid
for our Post Office Box for the new year. The expenses for
the service continue. Our web hosting costs are still there,
as is our production costs. Compared with other amateur news
services, TWIAR is the most inexpensive, and we give you more
high-quality, late-breaking news.

Please bear in mind, that a lot of people give a lot of their
time in the production of the service each. No one involved with
the service derives any income from it.

Looking back over the past few months, let's go back to the end of
October, we received funding for three out of the past eight weeks.
All of our production, maintenance, and web hosting costs are being
paid out of pocket by our staff here at our headquarters.

This situation cannot continue. This Week in Amateur Radio has been
here, each week, serving you with the best we can offer, for almost
eleven years. This Week in Amateur Radio is a listener/affiliate
supported service. Our expenses run in the neighborhood of $25 a week.
Other services look for thousands.

Please help keep This Week in Amateur Radio alive.

You can send whatever amount you like to our Post Office Box address.
We look forward to serving the amateur radio community for the coming
year, and a can't do that without your support.

Join This Week in Amateur Radios support fund, and we will give you, or
your club, a free plug on the air when we are utilizing your funds.

Thanks, and again, enjoy the best hobby in the world, amateur radio,
and let This Week in Amateur Radio be your source for the latest news
and special features.
