When the electric motor is running it can be heard on HF three cars away, reports from other HF operators in Houston.

I do not know of any Ham operating on HF using a Hybrid vehicle.
On FM it may not be a problem.

I beg to differ. I know of hams driving them around with their radios 
and having no problem.
(Honda) Wiring radio into these should be no different than challenges 
of wiring into any car.
