[TVI-RFI-EMI] KIDDE co2 problem

Number of years ago, I bought a bunch of Kidde, Nighthawk model co2 detectors.

The kind that you plug into a AC socket, but have an internal battery for power outages.
Also had a digital readout of co2 percentage.

They all worked fine, no problems with rfi.
So when the local Home Depot had a sale the other day, I bought another.

They must have changed a component value (or eliminated the component) as it beeps,
anywhere in the house even when I op on 160 barefoot.

The old one can be plugged into another outlet across the room and not beep, while the new
one will sound like a sub in emergency dive mode.

Anybody opened one of these up and know where/how to add maybe a bypass cap?
