Hi!! It depends on what you are receiving. If it is a buzzing sound, it is 
probably from a utility power line, or a light dimmer.
Both are notorious for producing buzzing noise.If the noise is always 
there, chances are it is a utility line that is dirty and needs
to be cleaned.Don't forget TVs that produce sweeping noise up to 10 Mhz.Do 
you operate only at night? That is the time
most TVs are on.Have you tried different operating times to see if the 
sounds diminish? I am a SWL and know too well
these sounds.That is all the suggestions I have off the top of my head.
