Hi Byron,
I'd be glad to listen to these. ALso, I have a friend who would be a good one
to have listen to if I can't ID.
I'm at a branch office of my company and I don't have my main computer that
has WAV capabilility. I have totally forgotten how I obtain WAV software of
even if it is part of this PC...I don't see it in the programming but perhaps it
is under a different name?? I am using Wind XP, fairly recent Dell, here at
the branch. SO, I'll need to know who to obtain it from. Any info on that,
address, will help.
BY the way, I do have "My Music" and also Windows Media Player so maybe
that incorps WAV??

I have two (2) 60-second audio samples of RFI that I'm
receiving on the HF bands. These make it difficult for
me to hear anything below an S5, at times, and
seem to be localized to my immediate area (other
folks five miles away hear nothing). They vary in
intensity day-to-day but are never absent.
Each of my WAV files are about 800K zipped, and
I'd like to see if anyone can identify the kind of source
I should be looking for. Anyone who has heard them
says they've never heard anything like them.
Let me know if you would like me to forward both files
directly in an EMail.
Thanks in advance for you help!
73, Byron
PS. File one is typical sounds heard on 29.909 MHz.
File two is unusual sound heard there that is also
heard at varying points throughout the HF spectrum.
These tones "climb" up the band repeatedly over time.
NOTE: Please include all past email history with all followup
emails until your order or inquiry is complete. Thank you.
