[TVI-RFI-EMI] is there afilter for cable modems

Check to see if the modem cable is a shielded unit - *might* help.  A local
went round & round with local cable outfit (T-W); they claimed up & down that
shielded cat 5 cables didn't exist - till he showed them that the factory
manual for the modem recommended same (no, they weren't using them - saved a
few pennies) + he found them (Belkin) on the shelf at Wal-Mart.  Now, his
problem was a huge number of spurs he was hearing at various frequencies, but
if signals can get out, there is the probability that they can get in.  It is
also possible that one clamp-on toroid may not be enuf for common mode
problems at 3.5 MHz.

Please keep us informed how this is eventually solved.
