[TVI-RFI-EMI] tel/modem interference

Lately, I have been getting some interference on my modem in my computer,
enough to knock me off my connection.
I'd love to hear a few easy hints on curing this problem.
Also, there are many "beads" and splits out there. For good old basic HF,
what values work best for telephone / modem interference?
What is a good source for them?
Any good sources on the internet for this info?
