[TVI-RFI-EMI] cable spliter/amplifier recomendations

I have had good luck with a Channel Master "Spartan 2" unit model 0268C
for my MATV setup (no cable available here in the booties). It was
bought some years back so I do not know if it is still available. It
has a single coaxial output so I simply bought a 1:4 (or use three 3 dB
ones) decent splitter. This amp is meant for fringe area reception and
claims a high dynamic range. It has separate V/UHF inputs and is
designed for outdoors use (tho I mounted it inside). I did add extra
input filtering as it had to "endure" 1300W PEP (ERP higher) at 50MHz.
No problem unless the 6m beam is 15 of the TV antennas and this should
go away once I raise the 6m beam. I also added a homemade 222 trap as I
recieve ch 12 and operate 222 MHz also. There have never been any HF
problems. Naturally, good quality RG6 was used throughout. It is
unfortunate so many mfgrs (hence choices) went belly up but such is
"progress" with cable. Unfortunately, not eveyone, despite statistics,
has it available (and it has its own can of worms). You were not
specific as to your signal input (antenna or ?) so this info may not be
applicable to your needs.
Good luck; let us all know what you finally use.
