[TVI-RFI-EMI] DVD recomendations

I'm hoping to solve my wife's VHS recorder recording my radio signal better
than the cables signal.

I'm looking for recommendations for a DVD recorder/player. Lasers should be
immune from rf but maybe the other parts inside aren't.
Any experience with these will be greatly appreciated.
Looking to buy her a high end machine for Xmas.
