CFL QRP Outing Sat Jan 24, 2026

Apologies for the slightly delayed posting this month! We will be gathering at Sylvan Lake Park in Sanford, FL for some QRP portable operation. The park opens at 0800 and we will setup in our favorite spot down by the lake. Watch for our Amateur Radio license tags, antennas on our vehicles. If our regular spot has been reserved, check the other two spots with pavilions and bathroom facilities.

Get out and support your clubs if you are able!
We realize that many of you followers of our group are members of the local clubs and we encourage you to support them. But to provide support for those that won’t be involved in setup or operation we will be out in the park. We often can work the clubs that are getting setup and testing prior to the start time of the WFD. So it can be a good time for some groundwave and pre-contest times. You might find some hard to reach states and countries are online too. So if you’re not a contester come have some fun in the park with us!
