When digging in Sumter or Lake County, Florida, you must call
811 (Sunshine 811) at least two full business days before starting any excavation project.  When I call 811 for my antenna, they identified areas in the front, rear and between houses.  The lightening rod installation outfit also called them before installation.  I took photos and made measurements for future reference.  Joe. I installed my 6BTV inside a PVC flagpole on the corner of the house. I dug up an old bush for the hole. AFIK, the utilities came in from the street in the front yard. My neighbor behind me lives on a cul-de-sac and her utilities come off the street as well.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I am trying to get all the utilities companies oujt to at my house to show me where I may drig to install my flag pole antenna.  Every house I have ever owned had all the utilities in the front lawn, but I understand it maybe different here in the villages.  For you that have put in a flag pole antenna were there untilities in the back yard?
