On behalf of George Briggs K2DM, and Dennis McKinney N0SMX, and myself, I want to thank the 24 members of TVARC who came out this morning to participate and/or observe our POTA activation at Lake Panasoffkee State Conservation Area  US-5670.

Our objective was to provide an opportunity for club members to learn first hand what a POTA activation is all about.  We were very pleased with the number who came out, and the number of people who activated with us!

Of special note we had 4 members Ken WB2ART, Kym KQ4ZOA, Jack KQ4JIH, and Pete K2PS, who made their first POTA activation today!!

Special thanks as well to Tom Menas K3WT for his inspiration, guidance, and assistance in getting us started as POTA Activators.

We hope that you all had as much fun as we did, and we also hope that all of you remain active in POTA either as an Activator, or a Hunter, or both.
