Our neighbor, the Lake Amateur Radio Assn (LARA) can use our help with comms for the Mt Dora Half Marathon, Sunday, December 21.

Event check-in and on air meeting typically begins at 6:15 am (no in person staging meeting planned), but finishes before noon.

Volunteers are needed to provide comms for water stations, start/end location, and sweep.

Please bear in mind we had several volunteers from LARA help with the Hearts for Hospitals bike event. And it’s a great opportunity for new hams to work their HTs and work with a net.
