In Idaho, the state has Amateur Radio included in their states constitution.
Because of this, the state is very conscious of Amateur radio in its laws.
One interesting thing is they recognize The Voice of Idaho club as a state recognized club.
The state owns repeaters that can reach the entire state with your beofang!
The catch is that you must be a Extra licence holder and complete net controler certificate from the Voice of Idaho.
You don't actually have to be a net controller for any of the clubs.
This opens up communication across the state and they utize for emergency services.
Do we have anything similar?
