Hi George!
I missed the sign up for this event when Camp Villages opened it. I am wondering if you might be able to squeeze in a 13th child?
My Grandson is 9 and I have hopes of getting him interested in the HAM Radio world. I thought this might be a good way to introduce him.
I am happy to pay for the kit of course and I am more than happy to volunteer in whatever capacity you need.
I am a member of the club, but a newer member and I don't have my HAM license yet. I don't think that I am qualified to help with putting the kit together, but I can perhaps help in some other way?
If this isn't possible I understand, but one never knows unless we ask. 😊
Thanks so much for your consideration.
Trish

Subject: [TVARC] Camp Villages 2025 Update
Clubmates,
Many thanks to the eight club members who have signed up for Camp Villages:
KR4GCX    BOB
KM4PIH    PAUL
KM4ZTE    MIKE
KQ4MLK    MARTHA
N2AMW    LARRY
K2PS     PETE
AD4MO    DOUG
WB2ART    KEN
I would be grateful if 3-4 more club members volunteered for this rewarding activity.
As previously announced, our Camp Villages session is scheduled for
Monday June 30, at
9:30, at Manatee Recreation Center. I am asking volunteers to show up at 9:00.
For those who are new to TVARC's Camp Villages session, it will begin with a scintillating presentation
by yours truly. Afterwards, the campers will be given the go ahead to assemble their FM radio kits, which will
be provided by the Recreation Department. I have attached a copy of the assembly instructions that WA3EWK (BOB)
and I wrote a few years ago. These will help give those of you who are new to our Camp Villages an idea of what the
campers will be doing under your watchful eyes.
As an additional incentive to volunteer, it has been confirmed that all volunteers will be GIVEN Camp Villages T-shirts.
Some of us have quite the collection! So, it is important for every one of you who volunteers to send me the size of T-shirt
that you want.
More info will be forthcoming.
73,
George K2DM
