Subject: [vHOTSmComp] Morse code decoder
Reply-To: [email protected]

All,

Not sure if this is the correct group (club), if not please point me in the correct direction, I have already contacted the Amateur Radio Club.

I am looking for a stand-alone Morse Code decoder device, it would accept an audio signal, decode the Morse code and display on a small screen. NOTE: I cannot use a computer (software) based solution.

I have found many units for China, actually purchased one and it cannot tell the difference between a DOT and a DASH, I also found some info of MFJ devices with mixed reviews. I also found some information or Arduino based project but I did not find any in kit form and preprogrammed.

I have a keyboard to Morse code encoder that provides a very clean signal for decoding, so I do not need to worry about signal noise or static.

Any ideas, links, first-hand experience would be greatly appreciates.
