We still need to add 80m and 160m before we raise the tower all the way. We just added 80m and raised the tower another 10 feet, but it’s still pretty low. Ray is running 10m on 28.358.7.

Subject: [TVARC] Montserrat status
For those of you who might be interested, here is a quick status report on our Montserrat contest trip so far. After spending Tuesday night on Antigua, we took the little 8-seat plane the last 40 miles to Montserrat Wednesday morning. Notice ND8L in the copilot seat.
Since our arrival we have been hard at work assembling antennas to the point that we are finally on the air. Ray (VP2MMM) is running 15m FT8.
I’m having a libation.🤪
We currently have a tri-band beam and a 40m beam up only 25 feet.
