Well, it took the threat of a Hurricane to do it, but we have canceled the TVARC picnic. The forecast for Thursday is for rain and wind.  The storm, which will be named Helene, is expected to be a Category 2 or 3 Hurricane by landfall on Thursday.
So, no picnic Thursday!
