N4MB is the current ARRL Southeast Division Director. He spoke at a recent SEDXC Zoom meeting about the state of the ARRL and how they’re recovering from the recent cyber attack. I haven’t watched the entire video but I’m planning to finish it today.

Guest speaker SE Division ARRL Director N4MB candidly discusses, from the viewpoint of an ARRL insider and IT professional, the May ARRL ransom attack: what happened, the recovery effort, costs, and the factors that have made it more difficult than expected to recover. He provides meeting attendees an exceptional level of detail about the event and the recovery process.

Mickey also discusses the ARRL Board's decision on the Dues Increase and QST distribution decision, and what it has cost the ARRL in members since implemented.

IMO this video deserves broad distribution to ARRL members so they hear an unfiltered version of these events.
