Not to be undone by all the hoopla

caused by the eclipse, I wondered

what 80M would be like during the

event.

Not as much activity as I would

have imagined, but I did work a

station in Michigan at 2:26 in the

afternoon on 80M with 50 watts to

a Tarheel screwdriver on FT8.

Not too bad with 50 watts in the

middle of the afternoon on 80M. 😁
