Clubmates, I know I say it alot, but keep checking 6m for activity. Yesterday evening 6M gave somewhat of a surprise opening to South America. I was able to work 16 stations between 3 countries, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil on FT8. I got started about 4:30pm local, and ended about two hours later. I'm sure I was a little late, and likely ended to early, but what a rush. The K2PS superstation was right in there to. I know others were there, so forgive me if I don't mention it. I was using my EndFed Sloper antenna that I use for nearly everything. Normally May and June is the sporadic E season, but, The Magic Band can surprise even the most seasoned operators. So keep an ear on 50.313 FT8, 50.125 SSB, 50.110 CW. Every morning around 7AM KZ4RR has a 6m propagation net 50.145 SSB. It lasts about an hour and you would be amazed a who shows up at times... Good Luck
and happy hunting...
