Looks like conditions should be good for the 

contest this w/e. Saw where Pete worked 

George at about 5AM, I worked him shortly 

thereafter. 

There is a code of ethics in working DX which 

wasn't being adhered to by some of those 

trying to work George. I have to admire George's 

"stick to it ofness." When that happened to me 

when we were down in the VI, I simply just QSYed 

or QRTed. I just didn't have the patience to put 

up with it.

Well, I finally got everything ready this afternoon and took a nap.
I started the contest on 40m, but it was a slog. So I went to 20m and started cranking. Two hours into it and I have 273 contacts. But the only TVARC contact was with K2DM - Ray operating from The Land.
I look forward to working many more club members.
