With the KS4EOC repeater temporarily off-line, the Sumter County ARES Net, along with the Sumter EmComm Net, were being held on the KI4DYE repeater.  As you are aware, the effective range of that repeater in Bushnell is significantly less which unfortunately makes it difficult for some of our members to access that repeater by RF.

To accommodate more of our ARES members and the amateur radio public, Gene King, President of the Hog County Amateur Radio Association, invited Sumter County ARES to conduct its RF Net on their 147.030 MHz repeater.  Therefore, the Sumter County ARES monthly RF Net will now be conducted on the K4HOG 147.030 MHz (+ Offset, PL 123.0 Mz) Repeater beginning with its Net this Thursday, October 26th.

Please join Net Control Operator Jeff Taffuri, KO4NCC, this Thursday at 7:30 PM ET, during which we will hear from a guest speaker.

Respectfully,

Mark Newby, KX4LEO
Emergency Coordinator
