George,
I am so saddened by your news: Bob was my mentor, my Elmer and my friend.  As a very inexperienced Ham, Bob took me under his wing and helped me set up my Ham shack back in 2005 - and taught me the intricacies of ham radio CW communications - I could not have done it without him.  He was a very talented CW op and was always willing and available to help others enjoy the exciting world of CW.  Yes, he was a talented Ham, but more importantly he was a good man, a Mensch.
