Such sad news on a rainy Saturday in The Villages. Beyond his exceptional character, Bob was an avid operator with an unwavering love for teaching CW. He was not only a skilled operator, but he selflessly shared his knowledge and passion with others, serving as a dedicated member of the Long Island CW Club. Bob's dedication to his craft and his eagerness to help others learn and grow made him an invaluable asset to the Ham radio community. Rest in peace OM, knowing that you have made this world a brighter place with your presence.

We lost a good friend this morning. Bob Schwer, K3ZGA, passed away peacefully. Bob was a fixture at TVARC events, especially promoting CW. His hands-on CW demonstration was always a huge hit with the kids at Camp Villages.
A celebration of life for Bob will be held at a later date.
RIP my friend.
