And don’t forget the biggest VHF contest of the year, the ARRL June VHF Contest. It’s the biggest because propagation is generally best on 6 meters this time of year, and lots of folks get on.
Starts at 2P local Saturday. The exchange is your grid square, and you can work stations on SSB, CW, and even FT8/FT4. My plan is to try and work stations on SSB first since most stations will be there, then CW, and finally FT8, since that’s the most time-consuming of the modes. Also, FT8 can sometimes have an opening while nothing is available on SSB/CW.

Well I'm going to keep my ear to the tracks today. 6m is starting to get a few FT8 stations into New England and even one out west in grid DN71. I'm only able to copy one Florida CW beacon on 50.073 at the moment, but I always have hope for more propagation...
