I built the HW-32A (20M SSB xcvr) and owned a couple of used Heathkits (SB-200 and a Sixer). 

I also built a couple of Knight-Kits in the 60s (including my Novice xmtr, the T-60). Since then, it’s been mostly a series of QRP rigs, the Elecraft K2 being the most ambitious.
