I worked my first two of the 47 State QSO Parties scheduled for 2023 this weekend. I made 20 Qs in SC and then did better today with 40 Qs in NC along with 27 of the 100 counties in NC.    

I enjoy the yearly State QSO Party Challenge. They provide levels of participation awards based on your contact and party count. Plus, it is a great chance to add states and counties to your log. To participate all you need to do is submit your scores to 3830.scores web site.   And, of course, submit a Cabrillo log to the state contest sponsor. N3FJP and N1MM+ both have excellent contest software to make it easy to determine your score and create your submission file.
